'Love Letters'

     The husband-and-wife acting team of Susan Sweeney and
William Leach of Newark stars in the University's Professional
Theatre Training Program production of Love Letters. The story of
Melissa and Andy, two childhood companions who carry out a 40-
year relationship through the written page, will be presented in
Hartshorn Hall. Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on
Thursday, Oct. 24, Friday, Oct. 25, and Saturday, Oct. 26.
Matinee performances are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday,
Oct. 26, and Sunday, Oct. 27. For tickets and more information,
call 831-2204. Sweeney has been voice, speech and dialects coach
for PTTP for the past 14 years. Leach appeared on Broadway in The
Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald and more recently off-Broadway in The
Crucible at the Roundabout Theatre.
