Housing info
Academic year student housing agreements must be canceled in
writing before Dec. 20 to avoid being billed $100 for late
cancellation. Faculty who are planning study trips or who are
aware of students who will be away are asked to encourage them to
file cancellation forms immediately with Housing Assignment
Services at 5 Courtney St.
A reminder that residence halls close 10 p.m. on Friday,
Dec. 20, unless a student is scheduled for a final exam that
night.
Those students must contact the hall director or assistant
area coordinator of the building in which they live and request
an exception, allowing them to remain in the residence halls
until 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 21.
Residence halls will reopen at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, for
students enrolled in Winter Session.
B&E tailgate
The College of Business and Economics alumni tailgate will
be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, during Homecoming
Weekend on Reunion Row, behind the Delaware Field House.

Haunted house
Lambda Chi Alpha and Kappa Alpha Theta will conduct a
haunted house at from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, at the Lambda
Chi Alpha house, 163 East Main St., in Newark.
The event is primarily for faculty and their children, but
children in the neighborhood also may attend. Candy will be given
to all participants.
Per person cost is two cans of food or $1. All proceeds will
go to the Emmaus House.

Gospel Choir
The Gospel Choir will present a program at a church service
at 11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 20, in the Ray Street C Lounge.
The event, which also includes a guest speaker, is sponsored
by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Rush expo
The Panhellenic Council is presenting a display of the
different sororities and Greek opportunities on campus from 7-10
p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Multipurpose Room of the Trabant
University Center.

'Major Mania'
"Major Mania," a talk with experts from the University's
colleges and student support services offices, will be available
from 3:30-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Multipurpose Room
of the Trabant University Center.

requirements, career counseling and planning, study abroad
options, academic services and more.

Tuition exchange
The Tuition Exchange Program deadline for new applicants is
Oct. 25.
Late applications will not be accepted.

Golf volunteers
Volunteers are needed for the MBNA Blue Hen Celebrity Golf
Classic, presented by Legg Mason, on Monday, Oct. 21.
Volunteers will assist with player registration, on-course
contests and the benefit auction.
All proceeds benefit the UD's Athletic Scholarship Fund.
