Logo links UD & College School
YoUDee leads a parade of children on the College School's
new logo, unveiled Sept. 13 at the Willard Hall Education
Building. The unveiling was the climax of Spirit Week, organized
by Bill Everett, a classroom assistant.
Designed by Barbara Broge, media services, the logo
symbolizes the link between the College School and the
University.
The College School, directed by Jeanne Geddes-Key and housed
in the College of Education, provides an enhanced learning
environment for children, ages 5 to 13, who experience difficulty
learning in a traditional school setting.
Students receive an individualized program in a small
classroom setting. At the same time, the school provides
opportunities for faculty research, as well as for graduate and
undergraduate students to observe and be involved in the teaching
process.
