United Way agencies present diverse giving options
The University's United Way Campaign kickoff was held in the
Bob Carpenter Cetner. This year's campaign will extend through
Oct. 23. The University's target is $160,000, which is a
significant part of the state of Delaware's $20 million overall
campaign goal.
Following are a list of agencies associated with this year's
United Way of Delaware campaign:

Environmental organizations and federations, both local
and national
Volunteer/Fire/Ambulance companies with 501(c)3 status
Private nonprofit hospitals
Animal welfare organizations providing support services to
elderly and disabled people
Youth associations promoting social adjustment services
through recreational activities
National federated appeals for the primary purpose of
promoting educational opportunities for disadvantaged students
Agencies of other United Ways
