                   Sidewalk construction near Smith
     
     Facilities Management is undertaking an extensive
landscape modification project on the east side of Kirkbride
Hall. The area is bounded by West Delaware Avenue, South
College Avenue, the east side of Kirkbride Hall, the Smith
Hall service area and the northeast entrance to Smith Hall.
     The plaza area at the center of Smith, Purnell,
Kirkbride and Ewing halls is not in this project and will be
accessible.
     The project started in early June and will last
approximately eight weeks.
     During portions of the project, the east entrance to
Kirkbride Hall and the northeast entrance to Smith Hall will
not be accessible. Signage and appropriate barricades will
be in place at those times.
