Musicians to play noon to midnight
Members of the UD chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia,
America's oldest and most prestigious music fraternity, will
hold their first Play-A-Thon from noon to midnight, today,
in the Amy E. du Pont Music Building.
For 12 straight hours, the students will jam, play and
bop till they drop, making all kinds of music: instrumental
and vocal, serious and humorous and just downright silly.
Admission is free and open to the public, with
donations gratefully accepted. Interested parties may bring
along horns, strings, voices and other music makers and join
in the festivities. For information, call the Department of
Music at 831-2577.
