Senior class gift drive under way
Members of the Class of 1997 are joining together to
present a senior class gift to the University, following
the footsteps of generations of alumni before them, but with
a new twist.
This year, seniors are being offered a new option,
according to Don Easterling, development and adviser.
Students may either give toward the renovation of Alumni
Park, a tradition for past classes, or they can specify a
program or area that is of special interest to them.
Senior class officers have been active in contacting
class members and organizations, and information was
provided in the Trabant University Center for students'
convenience in signing up for the project. A mailing will be
sent to make sure everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
Donors will be listed in an ad in the May 20 issue of
The Review, thanking them for their participation.
Senior Marc Balizer is class president, and Jessica
Robinson, senior class fundraising officer, chairs the
senior class gift project. The class gift will be announced
at Commencement.
