                        Bike to work on May 20
     
     In observance of Bike to Work Week, May 19-23,
University employees are invited to pedal to work singly or
in groups during the morning of Tuesday, May 20.
     In addition, a workshop on bicycle safety will be
offered from 12:15-1:15 p.m., Monday, May 19, in Room 203,
Carpenter Sports Building. James Grimes, public safety, and
Cindy Genau, Cooperative Extension, will present safety and
registration information, and a representative of Bike Line
will present a demonstration on changing a flat tire and
provide information on routine maintenance checks.
     T-shirts will be distributed to Bike to Work
participants at 7:15 a.m., Tuesday, at the meeting/departure
sites.
     
     The gathering point locations include

     * Barksdale/Casho Mill Road (contact
Cindy.Genau@udel.edu).
     
     A volunteer coordinator is being sought for Elkton
Road.
