CPR courses scheduled

     The Department of Occupational Health and Safety is offering
American Heart Association cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
classes, open to members of the University and Newark
communities.
     Two types of classes are scheduled:
      Heartsaver: $18, for adult, child and infant CPR and
 choking; and
      Health-care Provider: $21, CPR and choking, for the health-
 care professional.
     The fees, which must be paid before the class, include an
American Heart Association CPR manual. Both classes are limited
to 18 students.
     Heartsaver classes scheduled for 1996-97 are from 6-9 p.m.,
Wednesdays, Oct. 16, Dec. 4, Feb. 19, April 16 and June 11.
     Health-care Provider classes scheduled for 1996-97 are from
9 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturdays, Sept. 21, Nov. 9, Jan. 11, March 15 and
May 3.
     Registration deadline is two days before the class.
