Bike to the Bay

     For the fourth year, a group from the University community
will participate in the "MS 150 Bike to the Bay," a fund raising
event for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
     The "University Derailleurs" will participate in the 1996
event, scheduled Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6.
     Last year's 23-member team raised more than $4,500, and
efforts have begun to recruit new members to create an even
larger team this year.

     Student web pages
     Four "Hands-on Web Page Creation Workshops" are scheduled to
help students learn how to create their own home pages.
Participants will be introduced to the terminology and various
options they have to create web pages. Then they can proceed at
their own pace.
     The sessions will be held from 3-5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 23; 3-
5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24; 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1; and 4-6
p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, all in Room 116 of Pearson Hall
