     UD community invited to diversity group discussions

     Members of the campus community are invited to attend
one or more of a series of focus group sessions to share
their experiences, discuss issues of concern and to comment
on responses that were received in a survey last year,
conducted to understand the campus climate for diverse
groups.
     Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend
the 90-minute focus group sessions, sponsored by the
Commission to Promote Racial and Cultural Diversity.
     To discuss pertinent survey findings, in depth, share
experiences and suggest ways in which the campus climate can
be improved, each session is limited to 15 persons. The
sessions will be recorded; however, the confidentiality of
individuals will be maintained.
     To participate in a focus group session, please call

your name, local address and phone number, major or
department and whether you are a student, faculty or staff
member.
     The dates, times and locations for each focus group are
listed below.
     * Jewish focus group-1:30 p.m.,Wednesday, May 7, 206
       Trabant University Center.
     * Asian/Pacific Island focus group-3:30 p.m.,
       Wednesday, May 7, 206 Trabant University Center.
