Hall closings
     All students must vacate residence halls by 10 p.m.,
Friday, May 30, with the exception of those students who are
both scheduled for a final examination during the evening of
May 30 and who have registered with their hall director.
     Graduating seniors and other students working at
Commencement and who reside on campus may stay in their
rooms until 5 p.m., Saturday, May 31, providing they
register with their hall director.
     Faculty members who are conducting the last final exams
should refer questions pertaining to residence hall closings
to hall directors.
     
Poster session
     A Science, Engineering and Education Scholars Poster
Session, sponsored by the University Honors Program, will be
held from 2-4 p.m., Friday, May 2, in the Multipurpose Room
of the Trabant University Center.
     This free, public session highlights works-in-progress
by juniors who served a 10-week apprenticeship as research
assistants during last summer.
     
Ushers needed
     Ushers are needed to assist graduates, parents and
guests to their seats and distribute programs during
Commencement, on Saturday, May 31.
     Ushers are not required to wear academic regalia and
will be needed from approximately 7-11 a.m.

English possibilities
     A workshop presented by the Department of English will
provide information about the career possibilities available
to those majoring in English.
     The session will be held from 3:30-5 p.m., Wednesday,
May 7, in Room 110 Memorial Hall.
