Career Week
     The Career Services Center is conducting its annual
Spring Career Week programs from Monday through Thursday,
April 14-17. A variety of job and career related programs
are scheduled for all students from freshman through senior
year.
     In addition to workshops and presentations, a career
fair will be held from 1-3 p.m., Thursday, April 17, with
employers of 40 organizations interested in arts and science
majors. Interviews will take place from 3-5 p.m.

Sports web site
     America East has launched a World Wide Web site,
containing statistical and historical information about the
league, as well as standings and news about the league's 21
championship sports.
     The site also highlights conference academic awards
plus links to each of the 10 member schools' individual web
sites.
     Standings and statistics for men's and women's
basketball will be updated daily. Information about other
sports will be updated weekly. Ticket and tournament
information also will be included at the site, which can be
accessed at: www.americaeast.org
     
Alumni luncheon
     The Alumni Spring Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m.,
Saturday, May 3, at the President's Home, 47 Kent Way. The
annual event honors alumni of 50 years or more. Alumni of
the Class of 1947 will be recognized as the newest members
of the University's Gold Guard.
