                     'Henry VI' on Hartshorn stage

Shakespeare's magic will be captured this month by the
Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP), with
performances of the second and third parts of the trilogy,
Henry VI. This trilogy presents the saga of a country torn
apart, burning ambition, cowardice, honor and civil unrest,
culminating in the War of the Roses.
Henry VI, Part 2 tracks exploding antagonisms in the
English court among Henry's conniving new queen, his
ambitious rival Richard Plantagenet and an assembly of
agitators. In Part 3, the violent energy of battle is
portrayed as England's civil war destroys heroes, ravages a
kingdom and gives rise to one of Shakespeare's most
memorable villains, Richard III.
All performances are scheduled in Hartshorn Hall.
