                     Workshops set on pension info
     Three workshops have been scheduled about state of
Delaware pension and retirement information.
     For individuals in Kent and Sussex counties, a workshop
will take place from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, April 10, at
Milford High School.
     Two workshops are scheduled in New Castle County: from
7-9 p.m., Thursday, April 17, at Mt. Pleasant High School,
and from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, April 24, at Stanton Middle
School.
     Members of the State Pension Office and Social Security
Administration will be featured during the program.
     The workshops are sponsored by the State Pension
Advisory Council and the State Board of Pension Trustees.
Cosponsors include the American Federation of State, County
and Municipal Employees, Council 81, and the Salaried Staff
Association.
     
                    E-52 comedy in Bacchus Theatre
     E-52 Student Theatre will perform You Bastard at 8
p.m., Friday through Sunday, April 18-20. A matinee is
scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, April 19. All performances
will be held in the Bacchus Theatre in the Perkins Student
Center.
     You Bastard is a black comedy in which audiences
members learn why you can't go home again and why you
wouldn't even want to try to bring your girlfriend home to
meet your parents.
     Admission is $4 for students and $5 for others. Tickets
will be available at the door.

                    Alumni, children at Legacy Day
     Legacy Day, an opportunity for UD alumni and their
college-bound children to visit the campus in Newark, will
be held Saturday, April 19. Special events are planned to
showcase the University and to present the advantages of a
UD education.
     The day begins at 10 a.m. with a reception at the
president's home at 47 Kent Way. At 11 a.m., a series of
presentations from representatives of admissions, student
scholarships and financial aid and student life will be held
in Mitchell Hall.
     At 12:15 p.m., student-guided walking tours of the
campus will be held. Luncheon specials will be available at
the Trabant University Center Food Court, and special
discounts will be available for alumni at the UD Bookstore.
     Other special events scheduled on campus that day
include the annual Undergraduate Art Exhibition in the
University Gallery, Ag Day at Townsend Hall, a presentation
of Henry VI, Part 2 by the Professional Theatre Training
Program, performances from the Opera Workshop in the
Department of Music and a women's lacrosse game against
Boston University.
     Registrations for Legacy Day are encouraged by Friday,

                    Campus to host CAUSE conference
     The University will host a CAUSE/CNI conference on
"Delivering the Curriculum and Student Services in a
Technologically Enriched Fashion" in Clayton Hall on May 22-
23, and pre-conference seminars are scheduled on Wednesday,
May 21.
     This conference brings together scholars, academic
leaders, administrators and information resources
professionals from various areas of the campus to discuss
the role and impact of technology on key academic programs
and services.
     A discounted registration fee of $100 has been arranged
for all UD faculty and staff.
     The non-discounted cost to member institution
participants is $225.
     To be certain to receive the discounted rate, register
at the web site and enter the full name "University of
Delaware" in the organization field on the web form. Pre-
conference seminars are priced separately.

                  'Stonewall' to be shown on April 10
     The Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual Concerns Office and the
Lesbian Gay Bisexual Student Union at the University will
present the film, Stonewall, at 8 p.m., Thursday, April 10,
in Room 100 of Kirkbride Hall.
     The free public screening is part of Bisexual, Gay,
Lesbian Awareness Month.
