                Susan Koski named new assistant to the
                       executive vice president
     
     Susan Koski, Delaware '84, and former senior fiscal and
policy analyst for the Delaware State Budget Office, has
been appointed assistant to the executive vice president at
the University, effective March 3.
     In her new assignment, Koski will handle a variety of
special projects and will represent the vice president on
several University-wide committees.
     At the State Budget Office, she was responsible for
budgetary oversight of public education and higher education
agencies for the state, with funding totaling more than $600
million. She also reviewed, developed and recommended
spending levels and policy initiatives for UD and the
Department of Public Instruction.
     During 1992-93, Koski served as assistant to the
administrator of the Delaware Insurance Authority.
     From 1986-1992, Koski served as budget analyst and
later senior budget analyst for the Connecticut General
Assembly's Office of Fiscal Analysis, working with
legislators and agency personnel.
     Koski holds a master of public administration degree
from the University of Connecticut at Storrs.
