                        Poison prevention tips
     
     National Poison Prevention Week is March 16-22. Parents
should keep in mind the following safety tips:
     * Keep poisons out of reach of children.
     * Stay alert while using poisonous products.
     * Never refer to medicine as candy.
     * Dispose of old medicines and do so properly.
     * Keep personal products, cosmetics and potentially
poisonous products in original containers.
     * Buy child resistant packaging.
     * Keep poisonous plants out of reach of children.
     * Install carbon monoxide detectors in the home.
     * Teach grandparents, relatives and babysitters to take
precautions and how to respond in the case of a poison-
related accident.
