Chap Tyler to sign book March 17
Chap Tyler, Hockessin resident, author and a friend and
benefactor of the University, particularly the College of
Business and Economics, will be featured at a book signing
from noon-1 p.m., Monday, March 17, in the University
Bookstore.
Tyler will be near the grand stairwell autographing
copies of his new book, Building for Success in Business:
Your Mid-Career Years.
The book, published late last year, is available for
$10 in the University Bookstore and at the Campus Shop in
the Trabant University Center. The bookstore will validate
parking in Lot #5 (Penny Hall) for those who attend the
signing.
Tyler's book recommends that business schools prepare
students to handle real-world problems by emphasizing
fundamentals and by integrating theory with practice. It
offers advice for business people between the ages of 23 and
42 who are trying to move along the road to success.
Now 98, Tyler, a member of the College of Business and
Economics advisory board, currently is at work on his third
book, The View from 100.
