                     Senate approves name changes
     At its March meeting, the University Faculty Senate
changed two department names, approved a new minor and made
minor revisions to requirements for several degrees.
     The senate actions, listed under announcements for
challenge, were approved unanimously.
     Under name changes approved by the senate, the
Department of Agricultural Engineering will become the
Department of Bioresources Engineering and the Physical
Education Program will become the Department of Health and
Exercise Sciences.
     A new minor was approved in music management studies
and the four-language option for a bachelor's degree in
foreign languages and literatures was deleted, with the
department retaining the three-language option.
