                    Orchard Road closed through May

     Because of the renovation of Purnell Hall and the
construction of the new MBNA America Hall, Orchard Road will
be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic between Amstel
Avenue and Delaware Avenue, beginning today and continuing
through May 1.
     Vehicular access to the TKE fraternity house driveway
and the Ewing Hall service entrance will be maintained from
Delaware Avenue only.
     Vehicular traffic is prohibited from turning left from
Amstel Avenue onto South College Avenue.
     Pedestrians should use the plaza between Purnell,
Ewing, Kirkbride and Smith halls and use the East entrance
to access Purnell Hall.
