                          Manager of the year

	Wanda Tyree, food service director of Kent Dining Hall,
received the first Manager of the Year award, recognized by
the Dining Services employees of the American Federation of
State Municipal Employees (AFSME), Local 439.
	Tyree, who also is the union negotiator and human 
resource director for Dining Services, was recognized for her
dedication and commitment to working with all of the union
employees of Dining Services and for her employee relations
skills.
	She has been with Aramark for 13 years and at the
University since 1991.
	During her tenure, Kent Dining Hall has consistently
received excellent customer satisfaction results.
	Tyree also was recognized as Employer of the Year by
Delaware Elwyn for her efforts in working with learning-
disabled young adults.
