     College Bowl
     The College Bowl Campus Intramural tournament is looking for
faculty, staff and students interested in working as game
officials. Moderators, judges and scorekeepers are needed.
     Training will take place during the week of Sept. 22.

     D.C. shuttle
     The Washington, D.C., shuttle to the Library of Congress and
the Folger Shakespeare Library is now operating on Fridays only.
     Reservations must be made, in advance, by noon, Thursdays.

     Garage hours
     Regular fall hours at the parking garage on West Main Street
are 5:30 a.m.-1:30 a.m., Mondays through Fridays; and 7 a.m.-1:30
a.m., Saturdays and Sundays. 
     
     Library schedule
     Regular hours for the Morris Library through Nov. 26, are 8
a.m.-midnight, Mondays through Thursdays; 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays;
9 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturdays; and 11 a.m.-midnight, Sundays.
     Special Collections and the Exhibition Gallery are open from
9 a.m.-5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and until 8 p.m. on
Tuesdays. The library will be open during regular hours on
Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5. 
     
     Newark Day
     The 25th annual Newark Community Day, scheduled from 10 a.m.-
5 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, on the University Mall, will feature a
wide range of exhibitions, including crafts, food, live music, a
bazaar and children and family activities. WVUD-fm will conduct a
live remote broadcast at a location near Wolf Hall.
     Rain date is Sunday, Sept. 22. 
     
     Rental available
     A University-owned rental home is now available. The
unfurnished house, at 300 Ashley Rd., has two bedrooms, one bath
and a living room. Rent is $630 a month.
     The lease arrangement is especially favorable to new faculty
or staff moving into the area, since the lease can be terminated
if and when the tenant purchases a home.
