National search under way

     A search committee has been formed to seek candidates
nationally for the new associate provost for enrollment services,
who will have responsibility for the offices of Admissions,
University Registrar, Scholarships and Financial Aid and Academic
Services.
     Roland Smith, vice president for student life, has been
appointed search committee chairperson. Members are Stuart
Cooper, H. Rodney Sharp Professor of Chemical Engineering; Sharon
Dorr, alumni and University relations; Martha Carothers, art; and
Mike Middaugh, institutional research.
