Career guidance

     The Career Resource Center in Hullihen Hall, helps
employees manage their careers using the following services:
      * Resources for self-directed career analysis,
      * Career mapping and individual counseling,
      * Workshops about career development opportunities in
 higher education,
      * Coaching for job interviews and assistance with
 resume preparation,
      * Information about classification levels, career
 ladders and course fee waivers and
      * Assistance in developing internships, externships
 and cross-training opportunities.
     Employees can call employee training and career
development at 831-8823 to schedule an individual career
counseling appointment with Liane Sorenson or Richie
Holland. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., including
the lunch hour.
     Information is confidential. Supervisors will not be
contacted without employees' permission.
