Library hours

     Morris Library hours during Winter Session examinations will
be 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday, Feb. 7; 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, Feb.
8; closed, Sunday, Feb. 9; and 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10.
     Regular library hours from Feb. 11-March 27 are 8 a.m.-
midnight, Mondays-Thursdays; 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Fridays; 9 a.m.-8
p.m., Saturdays; and 11 a.m.-midnight, Sundays.
      Special Collections and Exhibition Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-
5 p.m., Mondays-Fridays; and until 8 p.m., Tuesdays.

Playoff tickets

     The first three rounds of the America East men's basketball
tournament will be held in the Bob Carpenter Center.
     Preliminary rounds are scheduled on Friday, Feb. 28, at 7
and 9 p.m.
     Two quarterfinal sessions will be played at noon and 2 p.m.
and at 7 and 9 p.m., Saturday, March 1.
     The semifinal games are scheduled at 1 and 3 p.m., Sunday,
March 2.
     Tickets for all four sessions are $40 and are on sale now.
     Single session sales will begin Feb. 17 and are $5 for
students and $10-$15 for general admission.
     Tickets can be purchased in person at the Bob Carpenter
Center and Trabant University Center box offices.
     Single session tickets also can be purchased through
Ticketmaster by calling 984-2000.
     UD season ticket holders may purchase their tickets in
person at the Season Ticket Office in the Delaware Field House or
by calling 831-2257.


Intramurals

     Registration for Early Spring Sports will be held from 8
a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, Feb. 10-14, in the Carpenter
Sports Building lobby.
     The sports include basketball (men, women, coed), ice hockey
(men, women), soccer (men, women), indoor lacrosse (men, women),
walleyball (men, women, coed), racquetball (men, women) and table
tennis (men, women).
     The cost of participation is $25 for team sports and $5 for
individual sports.

Vehicle for sale

     A 1992 Chevrolet Corsica, with 73,450 miles in fair
condition, is being sold by the University. Interested bidders

Staff leagues

     The Intramurals Program and the Employee Fitness Center are
forming faculty/staff leagues in racquetball and tennis.
     Racquetball began in January, but also is being played in
February. Tennis will take place during the spring. Days and
times are flexible, and any skill level is welcome.

UDARF luncheons

     The University of Delaware Association of Retired Faculty
has announced its spring luncheon schedule. The group will hold
its information lunch/discussion sessions from 11:45 a.m.-1:45
p.m., Tuesdays, Feb. 18, March 11 and 25, April 15 and 29 and May
13, in Room 207 of the Trabant University Center.
     Two more formal luncheons with featured speakers are
scheduled from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
     Joyce Hill Stoner, art conservation, will speak on "More
than Meets the Eye: Looking at Paintings with a Conservator/
Restorer" on Tuesday, March 4. On Wednesday, May 7, President
David P. Roselle will be the speaker.

Shuttle to D.C.

     The Washington, D.C., shuttle to the Library of Congress and
the Folger Shakespeare Library will be in operation during the
spring semester, beginning Friday, Feb. 14. The shuttle is
available to faculty and graduate students on Fridays only.
     Reservations must be made in advance by calling Darlene
Reynolds or Debbie Lehman, English, at 831-2361, by noon on
Thursday of each week.
