Ivo Dominguez, foreign languages and literatures, was Middle
Atlantic region delegate to Modern Languages Association national
assembly, Dec. 27-30, Washington, D.C.
Heinze-Uwe Haus, theatre, was elected to a two-year term on
the executive committee of the International Society for the
Study of European Ideas. The committee is preparing its sixth
world conference on "20th Century European Narratives: Tradition
and Innovation" to be held in August 1998 at Haifa University,
Israel.
Farley Grubb, economics, was appointed to the editorial
board of the journal Historical Methods.
Bonnie Meszaros, Center for Economic Education and
Entrepreneurship, served as project director and a member of the
writing team for the development of National Standards in
Economics, which were released Jan. 4.
Johnie A. Burton, financial aid, and Harriet Saxton,
admissions, were elected to three-year terms on the regional
council of the Middle States Regional Assembly of The College
Board.
