Early payday

     The final 1996 pay for employees paid semi-monthly will be
on Monday, Dec. 23. Since many employees will be off that day,
paychecks and direct deposit statements will be distributed on
Friday, Dec. 20.
     However, checks will be dated Dec. 23 and banks will not
honor them until that date, and direct deposit funds will not be
available until
Dec. 23.
     The final bi-weekly payday of 1996 is on Friday, Dec. 20.

Fitness hours

     The Employee Fitness Center will have a modified schedule
during the holiday season. The center will be closed from 4
p.m., Monday, Dec. 23 through Thursday, Dec. 26. It will be open
from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., Friday,
Dec. 27, and Monday, Dec. 30.
     The center is closed on the weekends, and it will be closed
Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
     The center will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2, and resume its
regular schedule, which is 6 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Mondays through
Thursdays, and 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Fridays.


Garage schedule

     The parking garage on Main Street will be closed Saturday
and Sunday, Dec. 21-22, and from Tuesday, Dec. 24, through
Wednesday, Jan. 1.
     It will be open from 5:30 a.m.- 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23;
and from 5:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Jan. 2-3.
     It will be closed Saturday, Jan. 4.
     The garage will resume its regular schedule on Sunday, Jan.
5, when hours will be 5:30 a.m.-1 a.m., Mondays through Fridays,
and 7 a.m.-1:30 a.m., Saturdays and Sundays.


Library hours

     The Morris Library, Special Collections and Exhibition
Gallery will be closed Dec. 21-22, from Dec. 24-Jan. 1 and Jan 4-5.
     The Morris Library, Special Collections and Exhibition
Gallery will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23, and
Thursday and Friday, Jan. 2-3.
     All libraries will follow the Winter Session schedule from
Jan. 6-Feb. 6. At the Morris Library, the winter hours will be 8
a.m.-10 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays; 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Fridays;
9 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays; and 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Sundays.
