Santa scheduled on WVUD radio

The ever-popular Santa Claus will make his traditional

listen to Santa chat about a variety of topics at 2 p.m. on
Sunday, Dec. 22, and again at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
David Alperson of Astoria, N.Y., a senior psychology major
and general manager of WVUD, will host the show in which Santa
will discuss his favorite Christmas movie, how his sleigh flies,
his elves and much more. Many of the questions asked on the taped
program came from children of UD faculty and staff and from
students at the College School.
The show also will feature traditional Christmas carols and
a reading of The Night Before Christmas. After the interview with
Santa, WVUD will air a musical show called An Old Fashioned
Christmas.
"Our interview with Santa program is not only a fun and
exciting holiday program, but also a high quality one," Alperson
said. "It is a show that parents can let their children listen to
without having to worry about content.
At the same time, the program is enjoyable for adults with
or without children."
WVUD, 91.3 FM is heard in portions of four states.
