Successful year: Campus United Way campaign surpasses goal
The University of Delaware United Way campaign has gone over
the top, raising $184,018, which is more than $24,000 more than
its $160,000 goal, President David P. Roselle announced at a Nov.
15 thank-you reception held at the President's House for
solicitors and others active in the campaign.
Joyce Dennis Henderson and Karen Garrett of Employee
Services were cochairpersons of the campaign.
The following recipients of incentive awards were announced
at the event:
Donald Puglisi, business and economics/finance, $800
toward a trip of his choice, from Campbell Travel;
James Mehl, physics and astronomy, motorcoach
transportation to New York City for two, from continuing
education;
Nancy Rash, electrical engineering, Blue and Gold Club
