ADA office serves students, staff

The Americans with Disabilities Office (ADA office) serves
as a resource for UD students, faculty, staff and visitors with
disabilities. The ADA office assists students with disabilities
so that they may participate in all aspects of campus life. The
office also assists faculty and staff with disabilities so that
they may contribute their talents to the University workforce. It
also helps ensure that visitors with disabilities enjoy the wide
variety of activities taking place on the UD campuses. The ADA
office, located at 51 East Main St., is open year-round from 8
a.m.-5 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call Althea McDowell, ADA
coordinator, at 831-2835 or 831-4563 (TDD). A Disability Caucus
composed of individuals from various campus departments also
advises the University on disability issues.
