Dance lessons to begin in December
The UD Ballroom Dance Club is offering three, 10-week
sessions of beginning dance lessons from 8-9 p.m., beginning
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, Dec. 1, 3 and 5. Intermediate
classes will be taught from 7-8 p.m., Thursdays, beginning Dec. 5.
Cost is $25 for full-time students and $50 for others.
Private instruction is available for $20 an hour.

Final lecture in series on Dec. 3
The final lectures in The State of the Black World series
will feature Elizabeth Higginbotham, professor of sociology at
the University of Memphis and distinguished visiting professor at
the University of Michigan, on Tuesday, Dec. 3., in Room 124
Clayton Hall.
Her topic is "The Tide Is Still Low: The Employment Status
of Black Women in the U.S."

Gospel Choir in Pearson Nov. 24
The University of Delaware Gospel Choir will present its
annual fall concert at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 24, in Pearson
Hall Auditorium.
The theme of the program is to worship through song and
dance.
