Toys for Tots
The University Bookstore is sponsoring a Toys for Tots drive
through Dec. 2. The program, run by the U.S. Marine Corps
Reserves, provides holiday gifts for children who might not
receive them. Donations of unwrapped toys may be dropped off at
the Perkins Student Center or the Campus Shop in the Trabant
University Center.
The gifts will be distributed over the holidays to local
hospitals, churches and welfare agencies. For additional

Veteran's Day
The Department of Military Science will conduct a Veteran's
Day ceremony for the campus community at 11:15 a.m., Monday, Nov.
11, on the south side of Memorial Hall. The wreath laying will be
followed by brief remarks and a demonstration by the Pershing
Rifle Drill Team.
The annual POW/MIA 24-hour run around the campus, with
cadets carrying the POW/MIA and U.S. flags, will begin
immediately following the ceremony.
UDWC Craft Show
The annual University of Delaware Women's Club Craft Show is
scheduled from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 15, and from 10 a.m.-
7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, in Multipurpose Room C of the Trabant
University Center.
A wide variety of handmade gifts will be available. Proceeds
support the organization's scholarship fund.
Fulbright concerts
The Philadelphia/Delaware Valley chapter of the Fulbright
Association has scheduled several concerts in its series at 3
p.m., Sundays, Nov. 17, Jan. 19, March 16 and April 27.
The cost for foreign Fulbright recipients is $15 per person
and $18 for American Fulbright recipients.
There are group rates available.

UNICEF cards
The Public Relations Student Society of America will sell
UNICEF cards from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Nov. 11, 12, 18, 19 and 20, in
a kiosk in the Trabant University Center.
The sales benefit women and children in foreign countries.
Open house
The College of Agricultural Sciences will hold it annual
fall open house from 1:30-3:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, in
Townsend Hall. Visitors will learn about the college's programs
and activities.
