Wilmington craft sale Nov. 9; show in Newark Nov. 30-Dec. 1

     The fifth annual Holiday Crafts Show will be held from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at Arsht Hall, 2700
Pennsylvania Ave., on the UD Wilmington Campus.
     The show is free and open to the public, and free parking
will be provided.
     Each year, the show features hundreds of handmade items from
the area's best vendors. Jewelry, clothing, art, home accents and
children's items will be showcased. More than 80 vendors will
participate in the Arsht Hall show.
     The University's 20th annual Holiday Crafts Show in Newark
will be held during Thanksgiving weekend, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 30-Dec. 1, at Clayton and Pencader
halls on campus.
     Admission is $1 per person; free to children under 12, all
members of the University community with UD ID and exhibitors.
     Items such as stained glass, ceramics, hand-sewn pieces,
country wood crafts, tole painting, jewelry, floral arrangements
and much more will be featured. More than 150 craftspersons from
Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina and
Maine will be displaying their handmade items.
     Food and refreshments also will be available for purchase.
