Walk leader

     Amanda Adams, national gold medalist in women's figure skating,
who trains at the UD Ice Skating Science and Development Center, has
been named "Celebrity Chairperson" of the Juvenile Diabetes
Foundation. She has spoken to several area business and industries to
raise money for the organization and will lead its "Walk for the
Cure," a 12K or 6.2- mile walk through Brandywine and Rockford parks
in Wilmington, Sunday, Sept. 29. Check-in time will be 8 a.m., and the
walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. from Tower Hill School. For further
