Memorial service Friday for Marti Collins-Owens

     Martha "Marti" Collins-Owens, assistant director of University
relations and coordinator of the Summer College Program in the
University Honors Program, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, at her home. She was
48.
     Friends may call at the Chandler Funeral Home, 2508 Concord Pike,
Wilmington, from 7-9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27. A service will be held
there at approximately 8 p.m., Friday. Burial will be private.
     Mrs. Collins-Owens, who joined the University staff in 1986, had
responsibility for the Performing Arts Series on the campus.
     The 1995-96 series was dedicated to her, in recognition of her
commitment to arts education and performance at the University of
Delaware.
