Information on residence halls

     All students currently residing on campus who will be away from
Newark for the spring semester must cancel, in writing, their Academic
Year Student Housing Agreement before Dec. 19 to avoid being billed
$100 for late cancellation.
     Faculty who are sponsoring a study trip or who are aware of any
students who will be away from Newark in the spring should encourage
them to file cancellation forms immediately.
     At 10 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 19, University residence halls will
close, and students must vacate their rooms by that time.
     Students who have final examinations that evening must contact
their hall directors or assistant area coordinators and request an
exception to remain in the residence hall until 10 a.m., Wednesday,
Dec. 20.
     Residence halls will re-open at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 1, for
students who are enrolled in Winter Session classes.
