Color printing available from the central UNIX system

In addition to the color printers available in the Taylor Hall
site, the University has color printing available for users of the
central UNIX system.
You can send color PostScript print jobs to the QMS Colorscript
100 printer, printing on either 8.5-by-11 inch paper or 8.5-by-11 inch
transparency film. This printer is located in the Smith Hall I/O
Services area. Because there is a charge for this service, you must
pick up your output in 014 Smith Hall from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-
Friday. You can also upload PostScript files from a desktop system and
send them to this printer.
Paper copies cost 50 cents per page; transparencies cost $1.50
per page.
Information Technologies staff members also are testing a Hewlett
Packard Design Jet 650C color plotter that can print PostScript
documents up to 34-by-44 inches.
