PTTP presents 'On the Verge' Nov. 2
Eric Overmyer's On the Verge will be presented by the
University's Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP), beginning
Thursday, Nov. 2.
The show is the second offering of PTTP's first alumni season,
which is welcoming back some of the program's graduates who have
worked as professional actors.
On the Verge is the tale of three Victorian lady explorers who
travel through time. As they move from 1888 to the 1950s, mysterious
items such as egg beaters and Cool Whip enchant the women and provide
an entertaining evening for all. The Minneapolis Star and Tribune
called it "one of the funniest, wackiest, most imaginative comedies
you're going to see this season."
Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 2 and
16; Friday, Nov. 3; Saturdays, Nov. 4 and 18; Sunday, Nov. 5; and
Wednesdays, Nov. 8 and 15. Matinee performances are scheduled at 12:30
p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11-12. All shows will take place in
Hartshorn Hall.
Ticket prices range from $11-14 for the general public, $9-11 for
UD faculty and staff and $4-8 for students, depending on day and time
of performance.
For information, call the Hartshorn box office, telephone 831-
