RadioWatch

     Two employees from Facilities Management recently used the
University's RadioWatch community safety program to inform authorities
of emergency situations in the Newark area. Dave Wilson (seated)
alerted the dispatcher when a piece of construction equipment
overturned on Delaware Avenue. Wes Olson reported an accident that
occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Elkton Road.
University vehicles are equipped with two-way radios that link them to
dispatch personnel, who inform proper municipal and county authorities
concerning emergency situations.
