Football buffet
     Blue and Gold Club members can enjoy a breakfast buffet before
home football games, from 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m., on Oct. 7, 14 and 28
and Nov. 4.
     Cost is $9.50 for adults, $5 for children 5-11 and free for
children under 5. Prices include a 12 percent service charge and
transportation to the game.

Career day
     The Center for Career Services is conducting a Nursing and
Medical Technology Career Day from 12:45-3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 24,
in the Rodney Room of the Perkins Student Center.
     Representatives from hospitals and medical institutions will
discuss career opportunities with nursing and medical technology
majors.

Travel awards
     The Commission on the Status of Women will provide funds through
its Special Travel Award Program during the 1995-96 fiscal year.
     The awards are intended to encourage faculty and professionals to
present scholarly papers and participate in panel discussions dealing
with women's issues and to facilitate the career development of women
faculty and professionals.
     Deadlines are Nov. 1 and April 1.
