United Way Campaign letter

Dear Colleague:
     
     The 1995 University of Delaware United Way Campaign will be
conducted from Oct. 9-31.  This year, the University's goal is
$155,000. The overall campaign goal for the United Way of Delaware is
$17 million.
     
     Your pledge, in the form of a payroll deduction, will provide
needed community services on a year-round basis. By using the United
Way's expanded designation options, you can direct your gift to
community care, targeted care, specific care, neighboring United Ways
and eligible non-member nonprofit organizations.
     
     For additional information about the campaign, contact the United
Way solicitor in your unit or call Employee Services at 831-6651.
     
     Please give generously to the United Way. Your contribution will
help to continue the tradition of people helping people and enhance
the quality of life in our community.
