     Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee to the National Institutes of
     Health from 1992-1995.

     Ronald E. Martin, geology, was one of 12 North American and
     European geologists to visit Cuba as part of a five-day field
     trip sponsored by the Society of Sedimentary Geology, Aug. 17-21.

     Kathryn L. Kotula, animal and food sciences, as scientific
     adviser to the National Broiler Council, was a guest on Kitchen
     Koach, Aug. 28 and 31, on TV NewsChannel 8, which broadcasts to
     Washington, D.C., suburban Maryland and northern Virginia.
