Evening child care is available for children ages 3-13 through
Campus Kids, developed by the Chesapeake Bay Girl Scout Council at its
headquarters at 501 South College Ave.
The program begins on Sept. 4, and hours are 3:30-10:30 p.m.,
Mondays through Thursdays, and from 3:30-7:30 p.m., Fridays.
Designed for parents who may be working late, attending evening
classes or have other commitments, the program will offer children a
variety of activities, and facilities will include a multipurpose
room, a fenced outdoor play area, a crafts/project room and a study
area for children who wish to read or do school work.
Campus Kids monthly care is available for families who have an on-
going need for evening school age child care. Pre-registration is
required and includes a one-time, non-refundable, non-transferable
registration fee per family.
Campus Kids occasional care is available for families who do not
need evening care on a regular basis. There is no registration fee.
However, reservations must be made 48 hours in advance, and an
additional fee of $1 per hour applies.
A registration/health form must be on file for each child.
The hourly fee for Campus Kids is based on a sliding scale
according to adjusted gross income. For the second child, 50 percent
of the base hourly fee applies, and for the each additional child, 25
percent of the base hourly fee applies.
By agreement with the University, a 10 percent discount is
