Ambassador Travel chosen University's official agent
Ambassador Travel, located in the Newark Shopping Center, has
become the University's official travel agent, effective July 1.
According to Tory Windley, purchasing, "Since starting the
University Travel Services program one year ago, we have learned a lot
about the travel business, but we still need the assistance of the
most professional, customer-xservice-oriented provider we can find. I
believe that Ambassador Travel and George Nastase are the best choice
for University travelers."
Ambassador Travel will provide travel services, including all
flight, hotel, car rental and other related arrangements, for all
University business travel. The firm also will serve student and
leisure travel needs for the University community. Ambassador Travel
also has offices in Dover and Seaford, which enable it to provide
service to personnel on the Lewes, Georgetown and Dover campuses.
Nastase, president of Ambassador Travel, said he is enthusiastic
about the arrangement. "After having served the University of Delaware
community for the past 26 years," he said, "we are proud to have been
selected as the University's travel management provider of choice.
Ambassador Travel, the largest local travel agency in the state of
Delaware, is committed to providing the faculty, employees and
students with the best service and lowest possible travel cost."

calling UD Travel Services at 831-4321, or via e-mail at
