Bay volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help monitor the quality of Delaware's
inland bays. After completing a short training program, individuals
from all walks of life assist in collecting data on air and water
temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, water depth and clarity,
nutrient concentrations and bacteria levels at locations around the
bays.
To participate in the Inland Bays Citizen Monitoring Program, or
for more information, call Joe Farrell, UD Sea Grant Advisory Service,
at 645-4250.
United Way video
A videotape featuring UD employees associated with United Way
agencies is being prepared in connection with the 1996 campus
campaign.
Any employee who has been involved as a volunteer with a United
Way agency, or who has been affected personally by a member agency's
services, is invited to contact Joyce Henderson, UD United Way
campaign chairperson, at 831-6651.
Ads for sale
A representative from DataNational Publishing will be on campus
during June selling display ads for the Campus Directory. Anyone

Southwest taste
The Blue & Gold Club is taking taste buds west of the Mississippi
during its Southwestern Night buffet, from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, June
27. Cost is $12.95 for adults, $5.95 for children 5-11 and free for
children under 5.

Football schedule
The Fightin' Blue Hens football team will play six home games in
Delaware Stadium all beginning at 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays:
Sept. 7, Lehigh University; Sept. 21, West Chester University; Oct. 5,
Boston University; Oct. 19, Northeastern University (Homecoming); Oct.
26, James Madison University (Parents' Day); and Nov. 16, University
of Rhode Island.
Away games are scheduled on Sept. 14, at Villanova University;
Sept. 28, at University of Maine; Oct. 12, at University of Richmond;
Nov. 2, at the College of William and Mary; and Nov. 9, at the U.S.
Naval Academy.
