Class of 1996 raises funds for Alumni Park

     Thanks to the generosity of the Class of 1996, Alumni Park will
be recreated and replanted at a new location on West Delaware Avenue.
     With the construction of the University Center, the original site
was moved from the corner of Delaware and South College avenues. The
new location is west of that site.
     New trees and flowers will be planted, and new benches installed.
A permanent plaque will be placed in the park, recognizing the gift
from the Class of '96.
     Each senior donor received a Class of '96 T-shirt as a memento.
     Close to $3,000 in donations has been raised from seniors, their
parents and sponsors and other members of the campus community.
     The Alumni Park project is a collaborative effort between the
senior class, the Office of Alumni and University Relations and the
Office of University Development.
