TechTalk
Responsible Computing Month
May is Responsible Computing Month at the University of Delaware.
Much of the University's business is conducted on computers, making
information readily available to staff and students.
The technology on our campus--and used over the entire Internet--
is powerful and convenient; however, it brings with it a serious
responsibility. University policy requires all employees to protect
electronic information and to use it wisely. And, all students,
faculty and staff are charged with protecting the integrity of the
information resources we share.
Do you know what your responsibilities are? As a fun way of
helping employees become aware of University information management
policies, the University has created an online "Security Self-
Assessment Quiz."
As a starting point, this issue of TechTalk contains several
sample questions from the quiz. To really test your knowledge, take
the full online version. You may take the quiz as often as you'd like.
