Hall closings
Students must vacate residence halls by 10 p.m., Friday, May 24,
with the exception of those students who are scheduled for final
examinations during the evening of May 24 and who have registered with
the hall directors and assistant area coordinators.
Graduating seniors who reside on campus must vacate their rooms
no later than 5 p.m., Saturday, May 25.
Faculty members who are conducting the last final examinations
should refer questions pertaining to residence hall closings to hall
directors and assistant area coordinators.
Pool membership
Memberships are available for the University Outdoor Swimming
Pool, which will be open from May 27-Sept. 2.
Cost is $150 for a University family; and $80 for a University
individual; $175 for a community family membership of four; and $90
for a community individual. There also are charges for additional
family members and visiting guests.
Lap swimming, team programs, aquacize sessions and swim lessons
also are scheduled.

Ushers needed
Any member of the faculty, professional or salaried staff
interested in serving as an usher at Commencement, from approximately
7-11 a.m., Saturday, May 25, should call Joan Couch, head usher, at

Auction Saturday
Public Safety will hold its annual lost and found auction and
bike sale at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 4, in the rear of the Public Safety
building. A preview will begin at 8 a.m.
The event is open to the public. Items range from jewelry to
bicycles. The event will be held rain or shine.
Flyin' the Coop
Flyin' the Coop, a senior sendoff celebration will be held from 3-
6 p.m., Friday, May 10, on the lawn of Old College. Food,
entertainment and fun will be featured.
The free, public event is sponsored by the Office of Alumni and
University Relations and the senior class officers.

Blue & Gold Club
The Blue & Gold Club will feature a Prime Rib Night from 5-8
tonight. Entree selections also will include turkey breast, rice-
stuffed chicken and linguine Primavera.
The cost is $14.95 for adults, $7.95 for children ages 5-11 and
free for children under 5.

County 'Tree Spree'
New Castle County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold
Tree Spree'96 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at the Middle Run
Valley Natural Area, east of Newark.
During the day, 800 trees will be planted, 3,000 seedlings will
be given away and there will be art, folk music and entertainment for
visitors.

Assn. election
The election of officers of the University Staff Association will
be held through May 15, During this period, nominations are being
accepted for the offices of president, vice president, secretary and
treasurer.
Self-nominations are acceptable. Those who wish to nominate
others are asked to verify that person's interest in serving before
making the nomination.
