Dining Services delivers!

When the "munchies" attack students studying for exams this
spring, they'll be able to have favorite snacks delivered directly to
their residence hall rooms. The new Dining Services' Web site links
students to information about campus restaurants, which not only offer
the convenience of paying with cash, FLEX or points but also deliver
anything from pizza to cheesesteaks.
"The goal of the new home page is to provide timely, useful
information to Dining Services' customers," according to Stephen Hugg,
marketing consultant, who designed and maintains the Web site.
Other links from the Dining Services' home page include dining
hall schedules, phone numbers, official dining policies and employment
opportunities. Click on "Campus Specials" to find not only new cuisine
like Spicy Black Bean Vegetarian Burgers and International Chicken
Sandwiches but contests and an opportunity to contribute to Habitat
for Humanity through purchases.
"Frequently Asked Questions" offers clear information on dining
plans, how to find the day's menu, purchase more points, get help with
special dietary needs and more. An e-mail link provides an easy way to
send comments and questions to Dining Services.
The Dining Services' Web site isn't just for students. Faculty
and staff can find the operating hours and phone numbers of their
favorite eating spots and University departments can find information
about catering services provided through the Blue & Gold Club or
through Dining Services' Catering.
"We are also using the Web to survey the University community to
find ways to better serve its dining needs," Hugg said.
