Allergy, homeopathy seminars

     Since May has been designated as Allergy Month, the Employee
Wellness Center will sponsor an Allergy Prevention Seminar from noon-1
p.m., Wednesday, May 1, in 114 McDowell Hall.
     The program will be presented by Laura DiMatteo, a registered
nurse and a family nurse practitioner candidate.
     The presentation portion of the session, which will last until
12:45 p.m., will be videotaped. It will include general information
about allergies, how to prevent or minimize allergy symptoms and the
effects of allergy medicine. At 12:45, DiMatteo will answer questions
presented by the participants.
     Pre-registration is necessary, and those attending may bring
their lunch. Cost is $10 Wellness Dollars.
     The Employee Wellness Center also is sponsoring a program on
homeopathy, from noon-1 p.m., Thursday, May 2, in Room 347 of McDowell
Hall.
     Barbara Bason, a homeopathy health educator, will do a
presentation/dialogue on treating the whole person-mind, body and
spirit.
     The cost is $10 Wellness Dollars.
